My name isnt Chantilly at all. cant figure out how on Earth it got there!! Anyway, yes the flour refers to maida. havn't tried it with wheat flour, but if you like you can use half of each. This is a dense loaf, so should taste fine!

Actually eggs are the basic ingredients in cakes. Will look around for eggless stuff for you. Try the korova cookies, almond shortbread cookies..those are eggless. Will try and post some lime shortbread soon. All shortbread cookies are eggless.Unfortunately I don't do any eggless cakes...

Thanks for the lovely comment. I get almond essence from the same grocer that stocks vanilla essence. Both are 'Bush' essences.
